26.06.2008. First meeting between Suomen Pakolaisapu project leader Petri Öhman and youth from Mondial Stars and Cosmos juniors on peer support work.
20.06.2008. Meeting in Olympic Stadium with Mondial Stars youth where a questionnaire from Elämä on Parasta Huumetta Ry was distributed.
10.06.2008. Round table discussion organized by Suomen Pakolaisapu Ry with associations working in peer support activities. The aim is to create a network so that we can exchange knowledge and experiences.
26.05.2008. First meeting with Liikkukaa’s members involved into the Ray project Ahmad Ashtiani from Kuokkalan Tähti Ry in Jyväskylä.
22.05.2008. Meeting with liikkukkaa’s partner Suomen Palloliitto adviser Maurizio Pratesi on how to implement some migrants into social events.
22.05.2008. Second meeting with Metsälän vastaanottokeskus counselor Hanne Niukkanen to allow liikkukaa to invite some refugees to participate in a weekend seminar.
21.05.2008. Round table discussion between Suomen Pakolaisapu and members, Cosmos juniors, Mondial Stars and Spartak about the agenda to carry out the project.
14-15.05.08. One hour meeting with Metsälän vastaanottokeskus counselor Mika Kalttonen and Hanne Niukkanen to generate cooperation between our two organization to make refugees participate in peer support groups.
08.05.2008 Liikkukaa’s third member participating into the RAY project had to be introduce to the project concept. The meeting took place in our office with Spartak RY team leaders, Amon Kasymov and Nigina Kasymova.
07.05.2008. To introduce the peer support concept to Liikkukaa’s member organization team leaders, Nicolas Botti and John Koroma from Mondial Stars and Cosmos juniors a work desk was hold in Liikkukaa’s office. The different roles of the teams leaders was discuss and time for first teaching sessions were decided.
28-29.04.08. To start the project, a first contact meeting between our partners, Suomen Pakolaisapu ry and Elämä on Parast Huumetta ry was held in our office. Where participating Petri Öhman and Elina Kärki and the next day Tuomas Rouvilla. Discussion about the agenda and the useful target groups were the main subject.
15.04.2008 Jean-Marc Alingue has started as coordinator for Liikkukaa!-RAY
project.
